Gluten Free Banana Bars

Is it just us or does Gluten Free Banana Bars sound healthier than just Banana Bread.

We decided to turn our banana bread into delicious snack sized gluten free oat bars! Sometimes all you want is a bite of some dairy and egg free cake and we have done just that.

These are absolutely delicious, they would make the perfect school or work snack and as well as this just simply add some protein powder and you’ve got yourself the perfect vegan protein bars (for all those gym goers out there). ⁠

We love putting twists on our dairy free baking mixes and this one is one of our favourites that you can enjoy on the go and as a snack throughout the day paired with a cup of tea. What more could you want?

  • 1 Creative Nature Banana Bread Baking Mix
  • 3 large bananas
  • 40g Dairy Free Spread
  • Pinch of Cinnamon
  • 200g Gluten Free Oats
  • 2 tbsp Maple Syrup

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  2. Place the oats into a large mixing bowl and add the baking mix and mix together until combined.
  3. Mash up the bananas and add to the mixing bowl with the dry ingredients. Add the dairy free spread, cinnamon and maple syrup and mix well until all is combined. 
  4. Grease a baking tray and place the mixture inside you want your bars to be around 3cm thick. 
  5. Place in the oven for around 10-15 minutes. They should go golden brown on top. 
  6. Remove from the oven and allow to cool. 
  7. Cut up into squares and serve! 
  8. Enjoy
