Banana Reindeer Cupcakes

Bring a little festive magic to your bakes with our adorable Reindeer Cupcakes! Made using our Creative Nature Banana Bread Mix, these soft, golden cakes are transformed into the cutest Christmas characters, complete with chocolate antlers, cherry noses, and cranberry eyes. Perfect for holiday parties, school fairs, or cosy winter weekends. As with all Creative Nature treats, these cupcakes are completely free from the top 14 allergens and carry our no “may contain” promise, so everyone can join in the festive fun!

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Creative Nature Banana Bread Mix
  • 3 ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 75g dairy-free spread (melted)
  • Allergen-safe chocolate (for the antlers)
  • Glacé cherries (for the noses)
  • Dried cranberries (for the eyes)
  • Allergen-safe buttercream or frosting

Method

Bake the cakes: In a bowl, mix the Banana Bread Mix with mashed bananas and melted dairy-free spread until smooth. Divide into cupcake cases and bake as directed on the pack. Leave to cool completely.

Make the antlers: Melt the chocolate gently over the hob. Spoon into a piping bag, then pipe antler shapes onto greaseproof paper. Chill in the fridge until set.

Decorate the reindeer: Once the cupcakes are cool, add a small swirl of chocolate buttercream, then gently press in two chocolate antlers, a glacé cherry for the nose, and two dried cranberries for the eyes.I added some white fondant pieces to make the eyes pop!

Add the finishing touch: Serve on a festive plate and watch everyone’s faces light up, Rudolph would be proud!
