Sheep Carrot Cupcakes

Feeling Sheepish?! ⁠

Our little sheep carrot cakes are the cutest thing and so much fun to make this Easter! ⁠

This is such a great activity to do with the kids or just on your own if you fancy getting creative! As with all our mixes these are completely free from the top 14 allergens so everyone can get stuck in and enjoy the sweet treats this Easter. ⁠

Our carrot cake mix is truly delicious without doubt! If you serve these up this Easter you’ll see smiles all round! Whether you’re having a big party, celebrating with family, or just baking for yourself, these perfectly spiced carrot cake sheep will be a hit!

Ingredients

  • 1 x Creative Nature Carrot Cake Mix
  • 65g Grated Carrot
  • 110ml Vegetable Oil
  • 60ml Water
  • 100g Dairy free spread
  • 200g Powdered Icing Sugar
  • Vanilla Essence
  • Vegan mini marshmallows
  • Free From Chocolate buttons
  • Edible eyes

Method

  1. Combine the Carrot Cake Mix and Oil in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add the grated carrot and the water and mix well.
  3. Spoon the mixture into semi sphere cake moulds.
  4. Cook for 20 minutes
  5. Remove the cakes from the moulds and let cool.
  6. Mix the Dairy free Spread, Icing cougar and vanilla essence.
  7. Spread a small amount of butter icing on the flat side of one cake and stick another cake on top to form a ball shape.
  8. Dip the ball into the butter icing and then place on a plate
  9. Once you have done this with all the cakes put the cake balls in the fridge for 10 mins to set.
  10. Remove cakes from the fridge and pop them into decorative cake cases.
  11. Use the remaining icing to stick each marshmallow on in the fashion pictured.
  12. Use choc buttons and edible eyes to make the sheep faces.
  13. ENOY!!
