Lemon Hemp Seed Pesto Pasta

There are few things in this world better than pasta! And we have come up with a wonderfully healthy way to eat it!

By adding shelled hemp to your pasta you are  increasing your intake of omegas 3, 6 and 9 and other healthy fats, it is also the perfect way to increase your micronutrient intake for anyone living an active healthy lifestyle!

Of course, as with all our products, this is top 14 allergen free, vegan friendly and completely natural.

This delicious pasta dish will be a hit with all the family!

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Creative Nature Shelled Hemp Seed
  • 150g Fresh Basil
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 200g Gluten Free Spaghetti
  • 1 Lemon (juiced)

Method

  1. Bring a saucepan of water to boil and add a pinch of salt. 
  2. Add the spaghetti to the pan and cook for 12-15 minutes.
  3. In a food processor add your basil, shelled hemp, olive oil, lemon and salt and pepper and mix together until it creates a paste like sauce. If you would like it runnier you can add more olive oil to the pesto sauce. 
  4. Drain your pasta and mix in with the pesto sauce and serve! 
  5. Nut free alternatives have never been so easy!
