Christmas Spiced Cupcakes

You can’t think of Christmas without thinking of Cinnamon and oranges and all those sweet, spiced delicious smells! So, we thought, why not put those flavours into a recipe for you lovely lot?!

Here at Creative Nature we have come up with the perfect Christmas Cupcake using our super easy Chocolate Cake Baking Mix.

Full of flavour and light and fluffy these cupcakes will make the perfect pud for any festive feast! Top 14 allergen free and vegan friendly, these school safe treats will be a winner with everyone!

These are the perfect treat to leave out for Santa and his reindeer on Christmas eve…..that’s if you can stop yourself from eating them all first!

Ingredients

  • X1 Creative Nature Chocolate Cake Mix
  • 110ml Vegetable Oil
  • 250 ml milk of your choice
  • 3 tbsp Cinnamon Spice
  • 150g Vanilla Buttercream Icing (Vegan)
  • 150g Candied oranges
  • 1 Fresh Orange (sliced)

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees 
  2. In a large mixing pour in the contents of the baking mix and add the vegetable oil and dairy free spread and mix until fully combined 
  3. Evenly distribute the mixture between the 6 cases and place in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
  4. Allow to cool for around 15 minutes before decorating 
  5. Place the buttercream on the muffins and spread with a knife so it is smooth on top and sprinkle some cinnamon powder and candied orange on top and finish off with a slice of orange. 
  6. ENJOY!!
