Bonfire Cupcakes
Cosy, colourful, and perfect for autumn evenings, our Bonfire Cupcakes bring the magic of a crackling fire to your dessert table! Made with our Victoria Sponge Mix, these light and fluffy cupcakes are topped with swirls of fiery buttercream and decorated with chocolate “logs” and marshmallow “toasting sticks” for a playful, seasonal twist.
As with all Creative Nature treats, these cupcakes are completely free from the top 14 allergens and carry our no “may contain” promise, so everyone can join in around the (cupcake) bonfire!

Ingredients
- 1 pack Creative Nature Victoria Sponge Mix
- 140ml plant-based milk
- 60ml vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1tsp Vanilla extract
- Red and yellow food colouring
- Allergen-safe buttercream
- Allergen-safe chocolate sticks
- Allergen-safe mini marshmallows
- Cocktail sticks

Method
- Bake the cakes: In a bowl, whisk together the Victoria Sponge Mix, plant-based milk, and vegetable until smooth. Divide into cases and bake as directed.
- Make the flames: Colour half the buttercream red and half yellow, then layer both into one piping bag. Pipe tall swirls to create a fiery flame effect.
- Add the logs: Snap chocolate sticks into smaller pieces and press them into the buttercream like bonfire wood.
- Toast the marshmallows: Skewer mini marshmallows on cocktail sticks and stick them through the icing for a fun finishing touch.
- Enjoy the glow: Perfect for Bonfire Night parties or a cosy autumn treat.
